Started to develop new concept of hand acupuncture.   Discovered 14 micro-meridian system on the hands and published it in the journal of the Korean Acupuncture & Moxibustion Association.   "The 1st edition of Koryo Hand Acupuncture and 14 micro-meridians" was published.   The article on Koryo Hand Acupuncture was published serially from August in the Journal of Japanese Acupuncture & Moxibustion by Dr.Tae Suk Song. Koryo Hand Acupuncture Therapy Institute was established.   The 2nd edition of Koryo Hand Acupuncture and 14 micro-meridians was published. The Research Association of Koryo Hand Therapy was inaugurated and made it possible to present clinical experiences regularly in the third Saturday of every month. Dr. Yoo's first seminar abroad was held in May at the Japanese Acupuncture College. The 1st Korean-Japanese Koryo Hand Acupuncture Symposium was held at Cho-Sun Hotel, Seoul on October. In the Japan University, the Research Institute of KHT was founded and affiliated with the department of dentistry in November. Seven faculties from Japan visited Korea to learn KHT in November.   The 3rd edition of Koryo Hand Acupuncture and 14 micro-meridians was published. Dr.Yoo's special lecture was given at Japan University on June. The 2nd Korean-Japanese Koryo Hand Acupuncture Symposium was held at Se-Jong Cultural Center, Seoul in July. 400 people participated in the symposium.   The 4th edition of Koryo Hand Acupuncture was published. The name for the textbook of Koryo Hand Acupuncture was changed into Koryo Hand Therapy and that textbook was published by the 4th edition. The first edition of Biorhythmic Chart was published and the introduction to the congenital constitutions was published. The 3rd Korean-Japanese Koryo Hand Acupuncture Symposium was held at the Plaza Hotel, Seoul in November. 500 people participated in the symposium.   The Monthly Newspaper of Koryo Hand Therapy was first published. The first edition of KHT Clinical Experience was published by collecting various kinds of clinical treatments that were revealed since 1976. As a result, a clinical experience book was published by the 104 edition since 1996.   Dr. Yoo awarded honorary doctor of medicine from Gabon International University. The first edition of Yin Yang Pulse Diagnosis & Tonificaiton and Sedation was published. Jakiwon Medical Co.,Ltd was established. The 4th Korean-Japanese Koryo Hand Acupuncture Symposium was held at Ambassador's hotel, Seoul on March. 1,800 people participated in the symposium. Dr. Yoo gave a special presentation on KHT in September by the invitation of Health Ministry in Moscow with cooperation of Dr. Yatsu Mitsuo.   The 5th Korean-Japanese Koryo Hand Acupuncture Symposium was held at Ambassador's hotel, Seoul on March. 1,800 people participated in. the symposium. Koryo Hand Therapy was first introduced in Beijing with the invitation of the Sanitary Department of China in August with the cooperation of Dr. Yatsu Mitsuo.   Dr. Yoo was appointed Visiting Professor to Golden State University in the US. The 6th Korean-Japanese Koryo Hand Acupuncture Symposium was held at Ambassador's hotel, Seoul in March. A special lecture on Koryo Hand Acupuncture was given to the Association of Japanese Unique Acupuncture in April. A special seminar on Koryo Hand Acupuncture was given in the 2nd Oriental Medicine Congress sponsored by the Association of Korean Acupuncturist residing in the US in July.   The enlarged Korean edition of Koryo Hand Therapy was published. The 7th Korean-Japanese Koryo Hand Acupuncture Symposium was held at Ambassador's hotel, Seoul on August. 1,800 people participated in the symposium. Sixty different thesis were presented in this symposium. The effect of Treatment using Koyo Hand Acupuncture was proven in a scientific experiment at the Dentistry Department in Japan University on November   Principle and Application of Koryo Hand Therapy was published in Japanese edition. Advanced Research of Koryo Hand Therapy was published in the 1st edition. The 8th Korean-Japanese Koryo Hand Acupuncture Symposium was held at the Ambassador's hotel in August. 1,200 people participated in the symposium   A special lecture on Koryo Hand Acupuncture was given in Japan to memorate the Japanese edition of Principle and Application of KHT. A special seminar was given to the acupuncturists in the International Acupuncture & Moxibustion Symposium held in San Francisco on March. The 10th anniversary for the foundation of Yin Yang Maek Jin Publishing Co. was cerebrated on August. The 9th Korean-Japanese Koryo Hand Acupuncture Symposium was held at Ambassador's hotel, Seoul in September. A special seminar on Koryo Hand Acupuncture was given at Acupuncture Universities in Boston and San Francisco in November   The English version of Koryo Hand Acupuncture was published in January. 'Sooji Chim', the monthly newspaper was authorized as a periodical publication from the Public Information Bureau of Culture. A special seminar on KHT was given at the Acupuncture University in San Francisco in March. About 1000 people participated in the seminar. Dr. Yoo was awarded Honorary Doctor of Oriental Medicine from South Baylor University in the US and was appointed to a research professor in June. The 1st Nationwide Koryo Hand Acupuncture Symposium was held in August. The 10th Korean-Japanese Koryo Hand Acupuncture Symposium was held at Ambassador's Hotel, Seoul on November. A special lecture on KHT was given to the American at the Acupuncturist College in San Francisco and Chicago in December.   Dr. Yoo was appointed to a Visiting Professor to the Royal University in February. The 2nd nationwide Koryo Hand Acupuncture Symposium was held in March. About 1500 people participated in the symposium. Dr. Yoo was invited as a main speaker in the Pacific Symposium held in the US. The Principle of KHT and Yeom Pa Therapy was introduced in the Symposium in San Diego in August.   The 5th enlarged Korean Edition of Koryo Hand Therapy was published. The 3rd nationwide Koryo Hand Acupuncture Symposium was held in March. A special lecture on KHT was given to the acupuncturist and western medicine doctors in San Francisco, Chicago, and LA in December. The 11th Korean-Japanese Koryo Hand Acupuncture Symposium was held at the Ambassador's hotel, Seoul in December.   A seminar on KHT was given at Royal University, the US and in Montreal, Canada. A special lecture on KHT was given in Nagoya, Japan   The 12th Korean-Japanese Koryo Hand Acupuncture Symposium was held at Hilton Hotel, Seoul in June. 7,000 people participated in the symposium. A special lecture on KHT was given in October to the acupuncturists residing in the US in Boston and LA. About 1,000 acupuncturists participated in the seminar. A special lecture on KHT was given in November to the Japanese Acupuncturists in Nagoya and Osaka, Japan. About 400 acupuncturists participated in the seminar.   A special lecture on KHT was given to the acupuncturists in New York, Boston, La, and San Diego in May. The 13th Korean-Japanese Koryo Hand Acupuncture Symposium was held at the Lotte Hotel in June. About 3000 people participated in the symposium. The French Version of Koryo Hand Acupuncture was published. The German Version of Koryo Hand Acupuncture was published. Research Association of Koryo Hand Therapy was inaugurated in University nationwide on December. England Branch was established on August.   The Order of Cultural Education was awarded to Dr. Yoo in recognition of his service for the improvement of human being's health from the Cultural Ministry of Brazil. KHT was selected as a required course in a domestic university. A decision was passed from the Supreme Court on April 17th that it is not illegal that the lay-people insert the needles to the others if it is performed without any pay, even though they are not practitioners. A special lecture on KHT was given in Chicago in June. A Research Institute of KHT was established in South Baylor University. A KHT Volunteer Group for Charity was dispatched to treat the people who were injured in the collapse of a department store in July. The 14th Korean-Japanese Koryo hand Acupuncture Symposium was held at the Lotte Hotel, in September. The them was the Prevention of Hypertension and Cold. New Research on the EP Test and Sensory Therapy was revealed by Dr. Yoo. A special lecture on the Congenital Constitution was given in Santa Monica in November. KHT Treatment for Hypertension, KHT treatment for Cold, and Clinical Collection of Treatment of Stroke were published. Sau Paulo Branch was established in Brazil in May. A Spanish Branch was established in September.   A special lecture on Yin Yang Pulse Diagnosis was given to the acupuncturists in Nagoya, Japan in February. KHT Member's Club was inaugurated in April. A special lecture on KHT was given to people at the Grand General Hospital in Chicago and Northwest Acupuncture College in Seattle on May. The 6th Oriental Medicine Congress was held at Las Vegas in August. Dr. Yoo made a special speech on Yin Yang Pulse Diagnosis and pathological location of the Zang Fu organs. South Branch of Sydney was established in Australia in May.   Sooji Food Therapy was published and Dr. Yoo started to give a special lectures on the importance of nutrition in nationwide. A KHT Professional Training Program was held periodically in the US. KHT Treatment for Obesity was published. The 1st Domestic KHT Volunteer's Service for Charity was held in October. Swiss Branch was established in December.   15 KHT Trained Practitioners were produced in the US following two year's intensive KHT education in November. A special lectures on Sooji Food were regularly given in the US bimonthly. New Energy Flow of the Earth was published. A KHT Hand Model that shows 14 micro-meridian and 345 points was developed. The Russian Version of Koryo Hand Acupuncture was published. A report on the original medicine of KHT was reported on the CNN News in April. Dr. Yoo gave a special presentation on New Approach to Correspondence Therapy in International Oriental Medicine Symposium held in Spain in October. Rome Branch was established in Italy in December.   KHT was selected as the representative medicine of Korea by Korea Tourism Organization in February. A special lecture on KHT treatment of lumbago and prostatitis was given in San Francisco in January. Dr. Yoo awarded Honorary Doctor of Oriental Medicine from Yuin University in the US on January. KHT was introduced in Berlin at the International Tourism Expo by the Korea Tourism Organization. Student's volunteer group went to China to treat the faculties in July. The Preview of Cyber Hand Therapy was shown at the Plaza Hotel for the journalists involved in health and medicine in July. KHT Program Experience was introduced as a training program course for the foreigners who attended in Gang-Won International Tourism Expo in September. Sooji Chim, the Original Acupuncture of Korea was introduced at the International Alternative Medicine Symposium by Dr. Kyu Hyun Park, the professor of neurology dept. in October. Dr. Yoo taught Yin Yang Pulse Diagnosis and Cyber Hand Therapy to Canadian acupuncturists in Canada . He presented his thesis on a system for relieving pain by regulating cerebral blood flow in the brain, at the 11th Pacific Symposium held in the US in November. The 3rd Festival of National KHT Volunteer Group was held and Dr. Yoo was awarded a medal for his distinguished service from Joong-Ang Daily Newspaper Co., Ltd. Sau Paulo Central Branch was established in Brazil in January. Island Branch was established in July. Taiwan Branch was established in July. Sydney Eastern Branch was established in Australia in October.   A campaign for the teenager's non-smoking was conducted Dr. Yoo visited Germany by the invitation of German Association of Western Medicine. They appoint him the Honorary Chief of the German Association of Western Medicine in May. Also, He presented his thesis on the relief of pain through Koryo Hand Therapy in Austria in May. Dr. Yoo gave a special seminar on the prevention of paralysis in LA in June. DR. Yoo was appointed to Honorary Professor for Choong-Chung University in July. KHT Clinical Experience Program was carried on to treat injury of the athletes in the 4th World Tae-Kwun-Don Festival held in Korea in July. The opening ceremony for the 2nd KHT Training Professional Program was held in LA and Dr. Yoo visited the Medical Department, UC Irvine University to teach the basic theory of KHT in September. The 4th Festival of the KHT Volunteer Group was held in October. London Branch was established in England in February.   23 people from Japan visited Korea to learn KHT theories and Congenital Constitution from Dr. Yoo on March. The 8th Korean Edition of Koryo Hand Acupuncture was published in March. The 3rd Science and Culture Medal was awarded to Dr. Yoo for his original discovery of hand acupuncture. The 15th Korean-Japanese Koryo Hand Acupuncture Symposium was held at the Lotte Hote in April. About 2,000 people participated in the symposium. The Japanese Version of Koryo Hand Acupuncture was published.
